Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division: Crossflatts 1 Sky Bet 0
AN 89TH-MINUTE goal from Adam Rooney kept Crossflatts in the title hunt as they bounced back from their first league defeat of the season to Keighley Town.
In a game that was short of gilt-edged chances, the winner came at the death when Michael Garnett’s right-wing cross was headed home by Village talisman Rooney, who has a habit of being in the right place at the right time.
Village’s next game is on Friday night when they travel to Salts FC, knowing only a win will keep them in the title race after Keighley Town were handed a walk-over win over Malt Shovel, who failed to raise a side on Easter Sunday.
