AS the season reaches the closing stages the destiny of the West Riding County Amateur League's Premier Division title is still to be decided.

Lepton Highlanders held onto the top spot with a 7-1 win at Golcar United on Wednesday, while Huddersfield YMCA – who have played three games fewer – remain one point adrift after winning 3-0 at Littletown.

YMCA could go top with a victory at Ovenden West Riding while Tyersal, who have only pride to play for, travel to Golcar United.

Third-placed Campion were defeated 5-4 by Halifax Irish on Wednesday who can draw level on points of they beat Lower Hopton.

Campion Reserves took Division One promotion candidates Newsome FC to a penalty shoot-out in the Division One Cup, last weekend, and they will be hoping to delay their opponents' title celebrations when they meet again on Saturday.

Monday's Bradford FA Senior Challenge Cup final sees Campion trying to prevent Fields lifting the trophy for the third-successive season. The game will be played at Eccleshill United (2pm)
