HAWORTH'S Dan Clark triumphed on a borrowed bike in the International Scottish Pre-65 Machine Trial at Kinlochleven.
He beat 250 other competitors from around the world, including TV star Guy Martin, riding a standard British 500cc Triumph.
Clark had never ridden the machine until just prior to the event. He said: "It was a tough trial, nothing was easy on a machine that was both heavy and powerful."
Clark, a top youth and adult trials rider at national level, is also a member of the Xtreme Stunt Team and demonstrates his two-wheeled skills in the UK and abroad.
Meanwhile, Dan Hemingway just pipped Cross Roads rider Phil Disney in the expert class at the Brian Clarkson Memorial Trial on Crossland Moor.
The final result went all the way down to the final section, with Hemingway, fresh from his Scottish Six Days Trial outing, beating Vertigo-mounted Disney by two marks.
