WORTH Valley Young Farmers are offering their services to four good causes who have a challenge they can tackle in an evening.

Club members have given over four of their weekly Tuesday night meetings to volunteering during the summer, and are looking for a range of suitable challenges to choose from.

A club spokesman said: “This will be the fourth year of this volunteering project for Worth Valley Young Farmers, and the club is once again appealing for groups to suggest possible projects.

“Our previous efforts have even gained recognition from Prime Minister David Cameron!”

In the past, members aged between ten and 26 have helped renovate a path at Holden Park in Oakworth, painted fences and white lines at Oxenhope railway station, cleared footpaths for Haworth Methodist Church and redrawn the court lines at Haworth Tennis Club.

Any groups interested in challenging young farmers should e-mail joeholmes10@hotmail.com before June 6.
