CRAVEN League Division Two leaders Wilsden won a low-scoring encounter at Barrowford, who only stretched their score to 61 thanks to No 11 Imran Akhtar making the top innings of 23 not out.

Sam Wilson took 4-13 and Stuart Wilson 3-20, and Akhtar then took all seven Wilsden wickets to fall (7-13 off eight overs) but couldn’t prevent the Windy Grove side from snatching the points.

Second-placed Hepworth & Idle entertained Glusburn at Westfield Lane, and the visitors were going well at 141-2 before collapsing to 172-9, with Neil Freeman scoring 73 not out and Steve Brown 58.

The hosts reached their target for the loss of eight wickets as James Tillotson claimed 4-63.

Thornton-in-Craven made 165-8 at Hainworth, but Ingrow skipper Mark Price (84) saw his side to victory by six wickets.

Then Mark Day (55no) and Richard Ayrton (47) put on 93 for the third wicket to set up a seven-wicket win.

Third-placed Skipton CI dismissed Bingley Congs II for 95 in a seven-wicket victory.

Embsay II restricted Crossflatts II to 108 at Shires Lane, but it took them 43.2 overs to reach their target for the loss of seven wickets, Dave Hall bowling at his miserly best to finish with 3-15 off 13 overs.

Gargrave II made 223-9 at home to Bradford & Bingley III, who were humbled for 31, 'Mr Extras' top-scoring with eight in an innings of four ducks.

Eight-man Riddlesden II could have done with those three extra players as they lost at home to Denholme II by 18 runs.

The visitors made 111-9, with Neil Spencer making 78 as Mo Qadeer took 4-29.

The hosts' Steve Bailey then top-scored with 24 as Spencer took 4-30.
