THREE clubs conceding their second-round ties in the Wynn Cup is a cause of great concern to the Mewies Solicitors Craven League.

Sandy Lane (to Sutton), Riddlesden (to Gargrave) and Eldwick & Gilstead (to Embsay) were the trio who couldn't fulfil their fixtures.

Holders Bingley Congs had a fair scrap with Barrowford before emerging triumphant by four wickets.

The Bull Holme side battled their way to 165-9 as Neil Copping took 3-32, and Kiwi Sam Porter (66) and Danny Pearson, who retired with cramp on 40, led the successful reply.

Oakworth, runners-up last season, were trounced by seven wickets by Ingrow St John's.

The hosts collapsed to 7-4 before a sixth-wicket partnership of 69 by Michael Scarborough (34) and Adam Smith (47) and a last-wicket stand of 41 between Lewis Wrathall (23no) and Joel Fothergill (18) helped them to 151-9 in their 40 overs.

Saints, were in a hurry, however, and built on a first-wicket partnership of 107 by Imran Zaman (68) and Deepal Dissanayake (46) to storm to 155-3 in the 21st over.

Denholme posted 172 at home to Crossflatts, Matt Wear (72) and Hussain Ali (53no) being the main scorers as Vijay Amirtharaz claimed 5-40.

Brothers Alex (50) and Nathan Bradbury (43) and Dom Bennett (36no) saw the visitors into the next round by four wickets.

Skipton CI were dismissed for 92 at Sandylands as Sam Mitchell (4-24) and Umar Malik (3-7) did the damage. Malik (49) and Dipesh Mistry (41no) put on 70 for the second wicket as Wilsden got home by eight wickets.

Skipper Mark Price (68) and Owen Palmer (40no) helped Ingrow defeat Bradley by seven wickets in quick time.
