A SPOOKY tour of Haworth will be followed by a night in a ‘haunted’ village pub.

The Black Bull, Main Street, is hosting the ghost-busting event run by Lost Ghost Nights on June 27.

TV and radio historian Simon Entwistle will begin the proceedings by taking his party on a ghost walk around Haworth.

A spokesman said: “We’ll go down the cobbled streets until we reach the graveyard. Here we will hear tales of ghosts and hear about the sightings at of taken place in the graveyard.

“We will then head to the pub where we will be locked in for the night. We will investigate the cellar, the bar area, snug and hallways, where several ghosts have been sighted.

“Then we will investigate the upstairs bedrooms where poltergeist activity is rife and a murder has taken place.”

The tour continues in the car park, where a woman’s scream has been heard in the night, and finishes with a vigil in the graveyard.

In addition to the £29.50 Ghost Night the spook hunters can have a three-course meal for £15.

The Black Bull is most notoriously known as the regular ‘haunt’ of debauched drug addict Branwell Brontë, brother of the famous writing trio.
