PEOPLE wanting to have their say about issues of local concern in Keighley can do so at one or more public engagement meetings being staged in the town.
The latest of these events, organised by Keighley Town Council and chaired by Mayor Councillor Shabir Ahmed, was due to take place yesterday morning.
The next of these open format public meetings will be at 6pm on September 21, with a third planned for 10.30am on December 15.
The venue for all the meetings is Keighley Civic Centre, in North Street, and light refreshments will be provided.
The events were started by the town council to give parishioners a chance to express their views without being restricted by the protocols governing formal, business meetings.
