A GROUP of girls took part in an information day at Gesipa in Keighley as part of Women in Engineering Day.
The 14 to 18-year-olds learned about the industry, the careers available and the Dalton Lane firm.
They were also given a tour of the factory, chatted to female engineers and saw some of the products made using rivets produced by Gesipa, including a Range Rover body shell.
The event was organised through the Industrial Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (ICE), based at Keighley College.
It was hosted by ICE board member and Gesipa managing director, Diana Scholefield.
Tutor, Emma Barrow, said: "The girls absolutely loved it and couldn't stop talking about the things they had seen."
