A SILSDEN woman staged a garden party to raise money for charity – and celebrate the second anniversary of her shed!
Grace Summersgill split the proceeds between Skipton and Craven Action for the Disabled (SCAD), of which she is a trustee, and the Carers' Resource.
About £350, plus gift aid, was raised for each.
The event – which also marked Carers' Week – included a raffle, tombola and bottle stall.
Main prize on the bottle stall was won by David Wilson.
SCAD also held a warehouse sale at the Old Printing Works, next to its shop in Main Street, Cross Hills, on Saturday.
Anyone interested in volunteering with the group – with transport, as a swimming assistant or in its shops – is asked to call 01756 701005.
