A HOTEL in Haworth will this month be the venue for Yorkshire Classic Motorcycle Club’s 15th annual bike show.

The occasion begins at the Brontë Hotel at 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Organiser, Ian Livingstone, said entrants can begin arriving from 4.30pm. The entry fee is £3.

Mr Livingstone added: "Last year, we broke all records, reaching 103 entries and giving £1,545 to our charities.

"This year, we want to increase both these figures, so if people have a classic bike that fits into one of the following categories, we would like them to bring it along so our judges can find a winner for each category and 'Best in Show'.

"Categories are Girder Fork Rigid, British to 1980, Foreign to 1980, Military to 1970, Reproduction, Customised, British Competition to 1970 and Scooter/Moped to 1980."

He said the event will also feature an auto jumble stall, so anyone with old bike parts in their garage or shed that they no longer want is welcome to take them to the stall.

Burgers and pie and pea suppers will be available in the Brontë Hotel during the show.
