YOUNG filmmakers from Long Lee Primary School attended an Oscars-style awards ceremony.
Thirty pupils joined more than 100 youngsters from across the district at the black-tie event at Cineworld, in Bradford.
The gathering, which also included Ingrow Primary and Aire View Infants School at Silsden, was the culmination of the 12th annual Bradford Council Film and Animation Competition.
Long Lee was shortlisted in several categories and took top prize in the year 3/4 digital animation and photography sections.
Pupils created a digital animation based on a Star Wars theme and won an accolade for a photo with a sporting theme.
Aire View took 20 youngsters to the event.
It won the short film category after pupils used the story of the dish and the spoon to create a news report.
"The project brought the book to life and the children loved doing it," said class teacher and assistant head, Tim Whitehead.
