CRAVEN LEAGUE Division Three leaders Cononley made light work of visitors Bingley Congs II.

The Beckfoot Lane side made 126 as Joel Grainger took 3-17 and Harry Parker 3-24. Andrew Starkey (79no) showed there were no gremlins in the wicket as the home side romped home by eight wickets.

Sandy Lane remain hot on the leaders' heels. They are just one point behind after beating Skipton CI by 70 runs at Greenwood Park. Tahir Rasheed (49) top-scored as the home side made 164 with Sam Smith taking 6-55. The Sandylanders were hustled out for 94 in only 19.5 overs, with Mohammed Ishtiaq taking 3-9 off seven overs and Arfan Ul Haque 3-26.

Third-placed Long Lee crashed to their second successive defeat at home to Gargrave, losing by nine wickets. The Golden View side perished for 104 as Stu Weatherall took 4-31 and Joe Wood 3-21.

Will Smith (43no) and John Beckwith (36) put on 72 for the first wicket to ensure a successful chase for Gargrave.

They move into fourth spot, replacing Embsay II, who lost to bottom side Eldwick & Gilstead by 72 runs at Wagon Lane. The home side made 131 with James Keighley (41) top-scoring as Dominic Kay took 3-28 and Simon Holt 3-36.

The Shires Lane side slumped to 59 all out as Andrew Stephenson claimed 4-14.

John Pinkerton (36 and 6-22) played a big part in Riddlesden II's 82-run victory over Bradford & Bingley III at Grange Road.

Jack Harrison (23 and 4-41), Cameron Foster (22no and 3-24) and Adie Shires 33no played a big part in Denholme II’s seven-wicket win over visitors Crossflatts.
