BRADFORD District Motor Club's WBS Championship moved to Skipton where 29 members rode a four-lap eight-section trials course plotted by south Craven club expert Nathan Wrigglesworth, who also sponsors the summer series.
Skipton Beta rider Robert Pearson rode every section without penalty but Keighley teenager Aaron Carter almost matched him, losing one penalty in the first section on lap two.
Former top superbike racer Rob McElnea journeyed from Louth and won the Twin Shock category riding a Fantic machine. Only two youngsters contended the Clubman A class, where Josh Pearson headed Mason Carter.
Results - Hard course novices: 1 Rob Chadwell (Montesa) 3, 2 Robert Bury (Montesa) 8, 3 John Smith (Beta) 8.
Over-40s: 1 Robert Pearson (Beta) 0, 2 Peter Clibburn (Beta) 1, 3 Andrew Walters (Sherco) 1.
Twin Shock: Rob McElnea (Fantic) 21.
Youth Class B: 1 Aaron Carter (Beta) 1.
Youth Class C: 1 Max Chadwell (Beta) 17, 2 Bradley Green (Beta) 24.
Clubman A Class : 1 Josh Pearson (Beta) 48, 2 Mason Carter (Beta) 58.
Clubman B novices: 1 Sam Steward 9Beta) 19, 2 Neil Hendry (Beta) 24.
Over-40s: Peter Coates (Montesa) 54.
Youth Class B: Jacob Snowdon (Beta) 34.
