POLICE have today issued a plea for witnesses to a multiple pile-up in Keighley which left one motorist with serious injuries.
The crash happened at about 1.10pm on Sunday on the A650 between the Victoria Park and Marley roundabouts.
It is believed a red VW Golf travelling towards Bingley was in collision with a green Toyota Yaris, heading in the same direction.
The 26-year-old driver of the Golf suffered head and chest injuries and was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary. His condition is described as stable.
The accident also involved a black Ford Focus, a grey Volvo V40 and a blue VW Golf.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the movements of the red Golf or Yaris prior to it.

* A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and later bailed pending further inquiries.
