HAWORTH'S Spar convenience store has been robbed by a hooded man who snatched money from the till.
Police were alerted to the crime shortly after 10pm on Wednesday. (August 17) The suspect was described as a white man, about six feet tall and wearing a red and grey coloured top with a white hood.
He was also wearing a baseball cap and white tracksuit bottoms.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said no one had been hurt in the incident, adding that it is understood the thief turned right immediately after fleeing the shop, which is in Station Road.
Police officers have been to the store to study security camera footage of the offence.
