A KEIGHLEY charity fundraiser is urging people to put their best foot forward to support heart research.
Sue Green is appealing to the public to take part in a canalside sponsored walk on September 3 in aid of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The event will cover a 12-mile route, along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath, from Armley Mills to Saltaire.
Registration costs £10 per adult or £20 for a family of four.
Proceeds will help fund new research into treatments for people with heart and circulatory conditions.
Mrs Green said: "We never cease to be amazed by the extraordinary ways people fundraise for the BHF.
"Every contribution, big or small, plays a crucial part in each breakthrough we make so we are incredibly grateful for the support.
"But we urgently need more people to join our fight. That's why we're calling on everyone to sign-up to take part in the walk to help support our vital work."
