SOUL music returns to Victoria Hall as the Keighley Okeh Soul Club comes back into action following summer break.
There will be across-the-board soul, including Northern, Motown and classic discs, on September 3.
There will be 10 DJs in the two rooms, including Alex and John Simms, Vic Hankins, Andy B, Flynnie, Lodgie, and this month’s guest Garry Chatburn, who spun discs at the original 1970's Keighley RAOB nights.
The event runs from 8pm to 2am, with the bar open until 1am and, according to organisers, one of the best dance floors in the North. Tickets on the door cost £6.
The Okeh Soul Club will continue on October 1, November 5, with the 11th anniversary party, December 3 with a Christmas party, and on December 31, with the annual New Year Okeh Cokey.
The annual Okeh By The Seaside Weekender will be from February 3 to 5 at the Carousel Hotel in Blackpool. For further information on all of the above events please contact
