YOUNG South Craven carers joined others from across the district in a summer of activities.
They took part in pursuits ranging from climbing, at High Adventure in Cowling, to sailing.
The activities were organised by the Young Carers' Resource charity, for children – some as young as seven – who look after a parent or sibling.
Anne Wells, fundraising co-ordinator at Carers' Resource, said: "There have been some excellent trips and activities and they were a big hit.
"The summer holidays can be a long, challenging time for young carers and some may struggle to get out and about.
"These days out and special events are a great way for the youngsters to try new things and share new experiences, while helping them keep in touch with their friends and have a break from caring.
"All the activities were kindly funded or made possible through support and donations from various community groups, businesses and individuals.
"It's thanks to them that almost a hundred young carers have had a super summer to remember."
Young Carers' Resource provides support including one-to-one mentoring and youth and after-school clubs.
