A 1960s-themed coffee morning at Keighley Picture House will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

As well as enjoying a cup and cake, visitors to the North Street cinema will be able to watch the movie Mrs Ratcliffe’s Revolution.

Duty manager Lucy Wilkinson is organising the event on Friday, September 30, and she and fellow staff will dress in 1968 outfits.

The Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event, starting at 11am, will feature a tombola, best cake competition, and performances by a singer and guitar player.

There will be a Macmillan remembrance board where people can post the names of loved ones, they have lost, along with a message.

Mrs Ratcliffe’s Revolution, which will begin at about noon, is a 2007 British comedy drama film starring Catherine Tate and Iain Glen.

It follows a British family who move to East Germany in 1968, during the Cold War.
