THE ATMOSPHERE of a stadium will come to Keighley’s Octagon as AJ returns with his Robbie Williams tribute act.

The singer is this time presenting his solo show which includes video projections and lighting.

Octagon owner John Pennington said AJ was returning by popular demand to “get everyone bouncing” on November 4.

He said: “Widely regarded as one of the best tributes to Robbie Williams, this brilliant show features all the greatest hits including Angels, Candy, She’s The One, Come Undone and Let Me Entertain You.”

AJ’s show also includes some swing music – as popularised by Robbie on his special albums – and songs by his original group Take That.

AJ was recently nominated for the prestigious National Tribute Music Awards 2016 and is regarded as one of the best UK Robbie Williams tribute acts.

He has thrilled audiences across Europe, and recently performed at festivals in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

AJ said: “There’s not many venues where you can go and set up the show the exact way you want to, mainly due to space and logistics.

"But John Pennington is very accommodating and I get to present my show the way it is meant to be, not just the custom backing tracks and replica costumes but video projections and programmed lighting.

“Think of it as a smaller-scale stadium gig, which hopefully the audience will get the maximum enjoyment from.”

AJ is only the latest in a regular programme of tribute artists at the Octagon, in Bradford Road, Sandbeds, with several newly-announced for the autumn and winter.

Rock Stewart will present his Rod tribute, with songs including Maggie May, Do You Think I’m Sexy and Sailing, on Friday, October 21.

There will be Pure Meat Loaf on November 18, Fleetwood Mac band Dreams playing the greatest hits on December 30, Complete Madness with songs like House of Fun on January 27, and Shang-a-Lang with their tribute to Bay City Rollers on March 31.

Tickets for most of the gigs cost £5, including AJ as Robbie. Visit theoctagonlive.com/whats-on or the venue to buy tickets.
