A SILSDEN community interest company is staging a series of craft workshops.

Been Busy last month shut its Kirkgate shop due to plummeting sales.

But craft sessions are continuing at the premises and a packed programme has been drawn-up.

"We were contacted by our landlord to say the building was going on the market but offering us use of it until a buyer is found – which we have accepted," said Angela Malcolm, who founded Been Busy with husband Neil two years ago.

"We will continue to offer workshops from there for now."

New sessions include flower arranging, led by experienced florists.

Val Hughes is returning with popular classes.

And the company is supporting the Tiny Toes Angel Baby Gowns group, offering sewing machine tuition and support.

Forthcoming workshops include: today (Oct 20) Felted Bag, 10am to 1pm, cost £22; October 28, Flowers for Fun Halloween/Autumn, 10am to 1pm, cost £20.

Also, a Christmas craft fair is being staged at Silsden Town Hall on October 29, from 10am to 3pm.
