TRIBUTE has been paid to Keighley people for their support of a charity fundraising campaign.
The Yorkshire Building Society Hour of Need initiative in aid of Marie Curie has raised more than £1 million.
Over £700, enough to fund 35 hours of care, has been coined-in at the Keighley branch.
"By supporting our campaign for the past two years the community here in Keighley has helped provide nursing care for people with a terminal illness in their hour of need," said Jonathan Thewlis, manager at the Low Street branch.
"Sadly most of us know someone who has been affected by terminal illness, but the donations have made a real difference."
The campaign, launched in 2014, has more than doubled its target of raising £500,000 by December this year.
Dr Jane Collins, of Marie Curie, said: "The society has gone above and beyond to raise funds for us and we are truly grateful for everything staff and members have done."
