MUSEUMS At Night returns to the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth this week.

There will be Spooky Storytelling on Saturday, October 29, when families are invited to explore the atmospheric rooms of the historic home by candlelight.

They can listen to the grandfather clock strike the hour and hear the creaks and sounds made by the old house after dark.

The original residents of the Parsonage will share ghost stories and village superstitions.

The event, which runs from 6.30pm to 8pm, is free for visitors providing proof of residence in the BD22, BD21 and BD20 postcode areas. Usual admission prices apply to other visitors, and pre-booking is not needed.

Another Museums At Night event will be held on Friday, October 28 at 7.30pm, as the latest Parsonage Unwrapped event. Jane Sellars will talk about the art of Charlotte Brontë.
