A KEIGHLEY primary school has given a boost to Manorlands.
Holycroft has presented the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice with an £845 cheque.
The cash was coined-in through a coffee morning and the fundraising efforts of popular ice-cream man, Noor Hussain, known as Manny.
Manorlands senior fundraiser, Andrew Wood, attended a school assembly to receive the cheque.
He thanked pupils, staff, members of the Holycroft Primary Friends Association and Mr Hussain for their support.
Mr Wood added: "It is fantastic to have the backing of local primary schools such as Holycroft and generous businessmen like Mr Hussain.
"This kind of community support means Sue Ryder can continue providing vital care to people in the area when they really need it."
