A KEIGHLEY College student had a hair-erasing experience to raise funds for Manorlands.
Ryan Parker, who is studying on a public services level-one course, had his legs waxed in support of the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
He raised £150.
"To say he was asking people to donate just 50p each he raised a huge sum," said Frankie Pearson, transition and engagement officer at the college.
"Ryan had put posters up around the campus ahead of the event and there was a great turnout on the day.
"He waxed up to his knees on both legs and found it very painful!"
