A GOLF club teed up a bumper donation for Manorlands.
The St Ives club at Harden has presented the Sue Ryder hospice with a £4,336 cheque.
Ladies' captain Wendy Dufton spearheaded several fundraising activities throughout the year.
There was a charity golf weekend, cake sales, raffles and a sale of Easter cards and baskets.
And a number of 'penalties' were paid when players landed in the 18th-hole bunker.
Manorlands fundraiser Harriet Wood, who received the donation at the club's annual awards ceremony, said: "It's not every day we are able to accept a cheque for such a substantial amount, so we are extremely grateful to be given the opportunity.
"It is clear how passionate and understanding club members are towards the work of the hospice and I was honoured to be invited to the awards ceremony to accept the fantastic donation."
