A WOMAN who entered the UK illegally was arrested in Keighley this week after immigration enforcement officers raided a nail salon in the town centre.
The officers targeted Nail Fairy, in Keighley Market Hall, Low Street, on Tuesday. (Nov 29)
A Home Office Immigration & Borders spokesman said: "Immigration Enforcement officers visited the Nail Fairy, Keighley, on Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected immigration offences.
"A 44-year-old woman from Vietnam was arrested after she was found to have entered the UK illegally. Investigations into this matter are ongoing."
The Keighley News has today tried to contact the Nail Fairy's phone number for comment, but has received no response.
A woman who answered a Bradford landline number displayed on the outside of the store said she had no knowledge of the arrest, and that she had no connection with the business as it was now "under new management."
