A CIVIC reception has been held in honour of Bradford's victorious Curry Capital team – including Keighley restaurant Shimla Spice.
The district took the Curry Capital of Britain crown for a record sixth consecutive year.
Those involved were invited to City Hall by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford, Councillor Geoff and Chris Reid.
Among those present was Faisal Hussain, Shimla Spice general manager.
Also there was Tricia Tillotson, tourism manager at Visit Bradford, who said: "It was an honour to receive an invitation to such a prestigious event to celebrate the achievements and success of all those who helped to make the 2016 bid bigger and better than ever."
Other guests included Colleen Groves, whose late husband Peter founded the annual contest, and Soraya Overend and Jacqueline Vicars from the under-threat Bradford Ministry of Food centre.
