A CHARITY tractor run is taking to the roads again.
The annual Christmas Bronte Tractor Run is being staged on Tuesday, December 27.
As in previous years, proceeds will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Since the event was launched in 2000, more than £40,000 has been raised for the cause.
"Although it's called a tractor run any vehicles are welcome – the more the merrier," said a group spokesman.
The run will set off from the Colin Appleyard garage in Halifax Road, Keighley, at 10am.
It will follow a route around Bronte country, stopping for a break at the Grouse Inn.
A collection will take place in Main Street, Haworth, and the event will finish as usual at the Bronte Hotel where there will be refreshments and a raffle.
First prize in the raffle is a helicopter flight for two.
Contact Stanley Turner on 01535 643391 or e-mail bronte.tractors@gmail.com for further information and to buy raffle tickets.
