Wharfedale Triangle League Premier Division: Ilkley Dynamo 1 Cullingworth Youth 2

YOUTH gained their first double of the season despite still being without key players.

In a topsy turvy encounter, they gave one of their worst performances of the season in the first 45 minutes and should have been four goals down at the break instead of only one.

A superb performance from keeper Michael Bright kept Dynamo’s lead to a minimum in a man of the match display.

A half-time team talk did the trick for Cullingworth, who redeemed themselves with goals from Harry Jarman and Johnathan Clewes to take all three points.

Youth had the better of possession and created the most chances in an end to end half.

Cullingworth play host to Keighley Athletic on Sunday in the league, having already played them twice this season.

* Keighley Town had only 11 players in their league clash at Yeadon Athletic yet continued their winning ways with a 3-1 victory. Their scorers were Leon Smith, John Robertson and Gary Shepherd.
