A CHARITY is seeking volunteers to help with collections in Keighley.

Marie Curie is collecting across the area as part of its Great Daffodil Appeal, an annual fundraising campaign.

"We are calling on Keighley people to help us make every daffodil count," said Aanika Dhillon, community fundraiser for Marie Curie in the town.

"All that volunteers have to do is encourage people to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin.

"People are asked to give-up just a couple of hours of their time.

"Proceeds will help Marie Curie nurses provide vital hands-on care and emotional support to people living with a terminal illness, and their loved ones."

Planned Keighley collections are at Morrisons on March 10 and 11, Aldi on March 18 and 19, the town centre on March 18 and Sainsbury's on April 1.

Volunteers are also being sought for a collection at Haworth on March 26.
