THACKLEY Reserves thumped bottom-of-the-table AFC Emley Reserves 9-1 in the Lancashire League, but conceded the first goal.
Joe Storey equalised, after good work by Matthias Britton, and Dan Broadbent put Thackley ahead.
Matthew Broadley made it 3-1 and Krishan Patel went on to score a fine hat-trick before Bradley Holland, Carlton Smith and Broadley completed the scoring.
Thackley manager Andy Patterson said: “It was a hard-fought first half, when we only led 2-1, but we ran out comfortable winners in the end.”
