MORE than 200 full and part-time jobs and apprenticeships will be on offer at an annual Keighley event.

MP Kris Hopkins is organising his third jobs fair, at Keighley College on Friday, March 10.

Jobseekers and school leavers are invited to attend the free event, between 10am and 1pm.

Over 30 employers from a range of business sectors will be present.

"There will be a huge amount of information and many first-class work opportunities available," said Mr Hopkins.

"The event is for people of all ages, from those leaving school to others seeking a new career challenge."

Firms represented will include Riddlesden-based water treatment expert, Calmag.

Angela Wysocki, for the company, said: "After attending last year's fair we are pleased to return to meet with other like-minded businesses, education professionals and – most importantly – those who are looking to start or further advance their careers."

Chris Stott, business manager at Keighley College, said the campus was delighted to be hosting the fair.

"Over the past few years we have built-up strong connections with local employers and this year the college will be offering more than 150 apprenticeships," he added.
