EMPOWERMENT was the theme of a Women of Keighley event to mark International Women's Day.
More than 100 women of all ages and ethnicities attended the vibrant gathering at Central Hall in Keighley.
Group spokesman Evelyn Shire said: “We enjoyed a newly-made and very positively-inclusive film of Keighley featuring a song written by Jenny Wilson of Irregular Arts.”
The music video featured women, local landscapes, singing schoolchildren, and people greeting each other. Entitled Keighley State of Mind, it can be seen on YouTube.
Speakers at the event wereSelina Ullah, who is active in local organisations, former MP Ann Cryer, and Emily Hill, who is a midwife working in Africa.
There were stalls with information, children and adults' crafts, mehndi patterned hand-painting, and performances by young singers.
The event was organised by the E5 Keighley Women and Girls Empowerment Project, which is funded by the Big Lottery and Keighley Town Council.
