PLANS to transform a church into a community hub will be discussed at a public meeting this weekend.
As part of the proposals – at St Peter's, Cross Hills – it is also intended to sell the Sunday School hall, which could be converted into flats or demolished to make way for housing.
"Any interested parties are invited to join in the discussion and give us their views," said a church spokesman.
"The church would be renovated and everything that currently goes on in the hall – such as dancing, Brownie and Guide meetings etc – would be held there."
The meeting is at the church from 10am to noon on Saturday (Mar 25).
