A RECORD-breaking 57 mothers and grandmothers joined their children at Sutton Community Primary School to celebrate Mothers Day.
The women joined pupils on Friday, two days before the day itself, for a chicken korma lunch in beautiful spring weather.
Head Fiona Beetles said: “Prior to lunch our guests spent a session in class with their children getting their heads around some challenging maths puzzles and games. There was lots of head scratching and thinking going on!"
During the afternoon the pupils went shopping for wrapped surprise gift for their “special lady” courtesy of our Sutton CP Family Events group.
Fiona added: “Dads get ready, it will be your turn to be 'puzzled' on the morning of Father's Day lunch on June 16.
