A CROSS Roads animal shelter stepped in to help another rescue charity when it was faced with looking after more than 20 cats from one home.
Keighley Cat Care was asked to take care of the cats, but had to isolate them to six weeks while they received medication for ringworm.
The charity, which hopes to rehome some of the cats, had no facilities to keep the animals in one place so issued an appeal for anyone with a garage or large shed..
Yorkshire Cat Rescue, which is based on Halifax Road, offered to help.
