KEIGHLEY'S biggest manufacturing firm will deliver a presentation about its work at an industry event in Leeds.

Teconnex, which makes industrial clamps and is based off Dalton Lane, will be among more than 1,000 Yorkshire manufacturing companies heading to Elland Road Stadium on May 10 for the Made in Yorkshire/Manufactured Yorkshire annual exhibition.

Representatives from Teconnex, which is a member of the Made in Yorkshire alliance, will deliver a three-minute showcase of their company at the event.

Made in Yorkshire is a growing coalition of 60 Yorkshire-based manufacturing firms looking to collaborate, source and supply locally while championing the contribution of Yorkshire manufacturing firms to the economy.

John Pendleton, president of Made in Yorkshire, said: "We're expecting a record turnout this year, a coming together of around 1,000 Yorkshire industry leaders which shows the regions appetite to collaborate in the wake of what is happening with Brexit.

"We recognise there are business opportunities to be had and lasting relationships to be made right here in Yorkshire."
