FUNKY Flowers and Creative Stitch workshops are continuing at Glusburn Institute.
The arts and community centre will host workshops this month when flower fans can create a spring garden arrangement.
Institute spokesman Sarah Golding said: “We will be using natural, seasonal flowers and foliage, and promise you a relaxing, creative time with lots of enjoyment.
“You will love what you make, all you need to bring is your scissors, apron and lots of enthusiasm.”
The workshops run on Wednesday May 10 from 1.30pm to 3pm and Saturday night including May 13 from 10am to noon.
The cost for each will be £15, including materials such as a basket, expert tuition, coffee and good company.
Claire Ketteman is running Creative Stitch workshops from 10am to noon on Tuesdays with a cost of £5 per session.
The sessions will teach a variety of embroidery techniques, with the chance to make gifts, home furnishings. Materials and equipment are available.
