CHURCH Green was transformed into a bike stunt arena for a special event inspired by the Tour De Yorkshire.

The Cycle Fun Day at the Keighley events space featured performances by stunt team 3sixty, along with a unicycle show.

A yellow American school bus provided a backdrop outside Keighley Shared Church during the event, organised by Keighley BID (Business Improvement District).

The bike team providing one-to-one training for youngsters brave enough to have a go, while other youngsters made flags to wave during the Tour de Yorkshire.

BID manager Paul Howard said: “Keighley benefited from two high-profile events this April, with the Flying Scotsman visit and the Tour de Yorkshire. The BID has supported these opportunities with events in the town centre.

“We’ve been really lucky with the weather and the support from businesses and the public has been fantastic. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the town for many more events this summer.”

The BID’s next event will take place on Saturday May 27, with free children’s theatre workshops all day in the Airedale Shopping Centre.
