A KEIGHLEY club is supporting Manorlands in tribute to the care given to one of its founding members.
Keighley and District Model Aircraft Club has donated £500 to the Oxenhope hospice in memory of committee member Barrie Pickles, who died there in March.
A cheque was handed over by club chairman Peter Harvey, joined by fellow members and Mr Pickles' widow, Doreen.
Hayley Ibbotson, senior community fundraiser at Manorlands, said: "This is a wonderful gift to receive from the group.
"It's a lovely tribute from them in memory of Barrie, knowing that their donation will help us to provide care to other patients and their families who need us – both now and in the future.
"We rely on donations from community groups to continue and are very grateful to the aircraft club."
