STAFF at a Keighley building society are staging a charity action day.
Workers at the Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) in Low Street are selling cakes, staging a ‘guess the number of sweets in a jar’ contest and selling trolley coin keyrings.
Tomorrow’s activities are to raise money for End Youth Homelessness, YBS’ charity partner.
Over the three years of the partnership, the aim is to raise £750,000 nationally.
The funds will help over 700 homeless young people into their own rented properties.
Jonathan Thewlis, Keighley branch manager, said: “We are proud to be in partnership with End Youth Homelessness and hope our customers and members of the public dig deep to help us support such a worthy cause.”
