BRITAIN’S best-known satirical impressionist, Rory Bremner, returns to the touring circuit this spring with his brand new show.
Partly Political will be be staged at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield from 8pm on June 8 – the day of the General Election. With Trump, Boris and Brexit fresh in the memory, Rory’s on a mission to make sense, and nonsense, of it all.
Joining Rory will be a mixture of special guests and comedians, including Jan Ravens and Jo Caulfield.
Rory said: “It’s almost as if satire is redundant – politicians are doing my job for me.
“But what I hope I do is try to make sense of things and rediscover the truth in this post-truth era.”
“I want us to engage with what’s going on, but be entertaining at the same time.”
Tickets for his show cost £20. Call 01484 430528 or visit thelbt.org to book.
