TOWN-centre businesses are creating a song and dance – and they're delighted.

Keighley Business Improvement District (BID) has teamed-up with performing arts school Stage 84 to hold free singing and dancing workshops.

The sessions are being staged at Keighley's Airedale Shopping Centre on Saturday (May 27), between 11am and 4pm.

Each session will last about 20 minutes and will be suitable for under-12s.

Other attractions will include free face painting and balloon models.

The event follows a similar initiative with Stage 84 in January, which attracted more than 100 families.

Paul Howard – manager of BID, which is funded by town-centre businesses – said: "It's been a busy 2017, with lots going on in Keighley and even more to come!

"Keep an eye out for upcoming events, including a celebration of Keighley's independent businesses throughout July and the return of the indoor beach for the school holidays."
