VANDALS have attacked Tory General Election posters across the Shipley constituency – which includes Cullingworth and Denholme.
Boards promoting the party's Parliamentary candidate Philip Davies have been smashed, pulled from the ground and covered in graffiti.
Mr Davies blasted the vandalism as "mindless".
"This is a despicable infringement on the democratic process which is deliberately designed to intimidate people from displaying Conservative posters," he said.
"It gives an insight into the intolerant bullying that I have become used to from the left-wing over the years.
"Those responsible would rather smash-up property than engage in political debate."
Mr Davies – who has represented Shipley since 2005 – said other Conservative candidates across West Yorkshire had also been targeted, included Colne Valley's Jason McCartney.
"This has all the hallmarks of Momentum – which has taken over the Labour Party," he added.
