MODEL railway enthusiasts will be making tracks for the Worth Valley line next weekend.

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR) will have miniature trains in operation as well as its more traditional locos.

A second annual exhibition is being staged in conjunction with Keighley Model Railway Club.

More than 12 layouts will be on display and a number of traders will be in attendance.

The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday (July 1/2) at Oxenhope Exhibition Shed.

There will also be activities at Ingrow, including demonstrations and drop-in sessions.

And on Sunday, vintage machinery and buses will be on show.

"The event follows the success of last year's exhibition held at Ingrow," said a K&WVR spokesman.

"With rolling stock removed, the expanse of Oxenhope Exhibition Shed will allow us to stage a larger exhibition.

"Model railway societies from across the north of England will be coming together to show their best creations and demonstrate their layouts in action."

The event will run from 10am to 4pm both days.
