A 30-YEAR-old Keighley man has been arrested in connection with the mugging of an elderly woman.
Police were called at about 10am on Thursday, July 6 to a report of a robbery in Bow Street, outside the Airedale Shopping Centre.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers attended and enquiries are now ongoing into the incident in which a man wearing a baseball cap grabbed the purse of an 84-year-old woman while she was walking.
"The man made off leaving the victim shaken but unhurt."
Police this morning confirmed their arrested a 30-year-old Keighley man on suspicion of robbery in relation to three offences, on July 2 and 6.
Anyone who saw the Bow Street incident or has information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, referencing crime number 13170307899.
