A FINAL plea has been issued ahead of a charity harness-racing event.
People are being urged to support the extravaganza, on Sunday, July 30, in aid of Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
There will be eight races — the first at 2pm — at the showfield in Haworth Road, Cullingworth.
On-site bookmakers will be present and other attractions will include an Old Spot bar, cake stall and catering.
Since the harness racing — organised by the Bronte Vintage Gathering group (BVG) — was first held 17 years ago, it has raised tens of thousands of pounds for Manorlands.
"It's a great family day out with a difference," said Trish Wood, for the organisers.
"You're always close to the exhilarating action."

Overall, the BVG group has now raised more than £400,000 for Manorlands.
Its events include the harness racing, the Bronte Vintage Gathering itself and a grand charity evening.
