MEMBERS of Keighley's voluntary – or third – sector are being invited to an annual conference.
The event – at Halifax on November 9 – is being hosted by the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson.
There will be speakers, question-and-answer sessions and workshops.
"The third sector plays a crucial role in addressing a wide range of crime and community safety related issues," said Mr Burns-Williamson.
"The work undertaken by the sector is huge and includes supporting victims, safeguarding vulnerable people, reducing re-offending and preventing crime.
"It's very important that we continue to actively engage with the sector through events like this.
"I have always said partnership working is the way forward and I do believe there is scope to achieve even more together."
